CORPO GOURMET is an artistic, social and culinary experience created by Omar Carrum´s and his company ALQUIMIA ESCÉNICA in collaboration with local artists, companies and Festivals from around the world. 

The menu consists of 8 GOURMET SCENIC DELICACIES composed of Physical Theater matched with exquisite dishes created especially by a renowned local chef.

Each scene happens in 8 specific rooms of a building, house, bar or restaurant of the city, weaved with a dramatic thread that involves food and emotional body states.

 THE EXPERIENCE

With their entrance ticket the audience arrives and gathers at a central area where they will receive a glass of wine and a menu from which they can choose 4 performance delicacies to begin an artistic and culinary tour through the tastes of their desires.

A presenter explains the instructions of the game: at the 1st bell the guides of each scene will come out with a limited amount of tickets for the audience to choose their first Gourmet scenic delicacy, at the 2nd bell the guides will take their group to the scene place where they will  receive their first dish, at the 3rd bell all the scenes start at the same time. 

While watching the artists and hearing the music, the audience tastes a dish that has the flavors and smells expressed by each particular scene. All the senses spark, while emotions rise—creating a sensational experience that is unlike any other.  

At the end, all the audience will come back to the central area to continue the social game, share their experience with others, have a drink, and get ready to choose their second course when the 1st bell sounds again. The whole cycle repeats only 4 times, so each person could only taste 4 gourmet scenic delicacies, for sure the curiosity and wish to taste the other scenes will make them come back for the next day….

with the company Camaleão, 7 performing artists and Chef Agnes Farkasvölgyi at the event CASA COR in the city of Belo Horizonte.

PANAMA - 2018

at PRISMA international Festival with 21 performing artists and the chefs Roberto Varela and Rafael Reyes at the private house of Heurtemate family in the city of Panama.

COLOMBIA - 2019

with Cortocinesis company, Detonos project, 30 performing artists and chefs of Selina Colombia Diego González and Carlos Cardona at Selina Chapinero in the city of Bogota.

CZECHIA - 2023

with Lenka Vagnerova Company, 12 performing artists and chef Marek Fitchner at Cerveny Jelen in the city of Prague.

MEXICO - 2023

with Lenka Vagnerova Company, 14 performing artists and chef Alan Miranda at Un Teatro in the Mexico City.
